Clay pots...

We shape clay into a pot,
but it is the emptiness inside
that holds whatever we want.
~The Tao Te Ching

In essence, we must become a shape ready to hold what we want. Build the structure of your daily existence that prepares you for the life you want most.

What do you want most?

  1. I first heard that sequence on a DJ Spooky track...

    Thirty spokes are made one by holes in a hub,
    By vacancies joining them for a wheel's use;
    The use of clay in moulding pitchers
    Comes from the hollow of its absence;
    Doors, windows in a house,
    Are used for their emptiness:
    Thus we are helped by what is not
    To use what is.

On this blog I share my personal posts about cooking and knitting, travel and other musings; while I will blog about dance-specific topics over on the Deep Roots Dance blog:

I hope you will enjoy both my sites. Thanks for visiting!
