Dance vs. Movement?
What would you consider the difference between dance and movement...even synchronized movement?
One might say expressing with music, but one can certainly dance without any music, right?

To me dance is the expresion of the soul through movement. Just like when I see my Dad paint: The Dancer creates the masterpiece, the Dance itself is the canvas and the Movement is the brush strokes. Dance is movement with a purpose of expression. No, one does not need music to dance and transmit the "message". I don't know if that makes any sense, my mind wanders a lot!
